Another Mess

I figure that I might as well get everything done at once, since I kept saying this has been on the backburner for some time now. This is the 2nd iteration of Mizumiya. Probably the most eyestrain of them all. Truth be told, I considered removing the CRT effect for all of this, but in the spirit of keeping the layout as it used to be, I kept it. So unfortunately, you may have to strain your eyes a bit while you read this one. I made sure to put the warning up on the original splash page, as well as the link to it.
For whatever reason, this version doesn't have a credits page. Odd choice, but I suppose it is what it is. Off the top of my head though, these are the credits:
- Templaterr's Sidebar Code
- Zonelets for the entirety of the blog management system
- A Random Calendar Code I found while looking for calendars
- Oudkee's CRT code
- Loveberry for the CSS effects
- Adobe Photoshop CS2 for being the software I made most of my custom assets
- Adilene.net (which is now gone), for the music player.
- Still looking for some of the original source of the webgraphics. I'll check through all the links on my previous layout archive
So, the code is just in here the way I edited it. Obviously, if you want any of these codes in a clean manner and not how I styled it, you should probably go to their sites and grab said code. Especially Zonelets. You do not want someone else's Zonelets file.
The reason I just left it all as is, instead of heavily modifying all but the front page & removing the links is because of how heavily integrated some of the files are to this site. Like, this was the point for my site where I had picked up zonelets and had really run with it, and it shows. It's so thoroughly baked in that I can't really easily separate it. And since this is for learning, it feels a bit wrong to be like "Hey, I integrated this tool into my website and you can too, here's an example of such," and just remove the script. So unfortunately, yeah that files in there. If I need to take it down, send me an email, and I'll do so. This is just me showing people "Hey, you don't need to leave it exactly how it is out of the box, you can really do things with this."
Maybe that should be the push for me to finally make a zonelets layout or two just to show people like "You can totally use this and do it like this." I mean, it wouldn't be the first time someone's modified the script. Actually, on the topic of that, here's the link to 3Legged's Tagged Zonelets, which I felt should be shared, even though I've opted not to use it in the end.
Anyways, this is another layout that you're free to do what you wish with. I left a bit more up on this one, but the links at the bottom don't really go anywhere. It's just an example of how to do things. Once again, the HTML is a mess, as is the CSS. None of it is really validated either. With that said, it's another case of "If you decide to use this, just swap out the banner." I don't really care what it gets modified to be, or if you just download and gawk at it. Have fun.
With that said, here's a direct download to a .7z archive from my catbox files. It contains all of the files set up as is. You will need 7zip or another archival program to extract the files to use it.
