Pinky:cos Ayanami Rei

So, these were a duo pack of Asuka & Rei, but because my ex and I at the time split the package, I only have Rei. She's the oldest figure I have in possession still. Incredibly important to me, even if I parted ways with that person a long time ago. Oh well. I think the Pinky:St. designs are very charming. In my mind, I always think she's a trading figure, but she apparently is not. Her size is very small though, and there's a peg in her foot for a base. Maybe one day, I should make her one. Because she sure does like to fall over.

Tear Grants

Tear is another old figure. Really cute. When I was aiming for her, I found myself debating between this one and the Milestone 1/7th one. But this one was a lot easier to find. I think my only issue is the fact that the Milestone one is just really hard to find. That, and this Koto one is pretty neat. I mean, I love the little sway to the side she's doing. Conveys a sense of motion. She's also the same scale as most of the other Tales figures, so it makes her a lot easier to slot in. She has a lot less issues than Natalia does, but I assume it's due to the fact that the seamline on her hair is hidden a lot better, as well as not having the giant wind effect that slowly gets discolored over time.

Mizugorou

So apparently, it's not exactly known when exactly this figure was released. We don't even have a release month to generalize off of. I will tell you though that I got him at a Target one day. Forgot all about him for ages, only to find him while cleaning out the garage one day last year. Awesome find. Promptly went back on my shelf.

Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear

So, this Natalia is definitely pretty vintage. Probably one of the oldest things I own, even though I didn't own her since she came out. I picked her up secondhand, and with no blister. Won't lie, I was pretty scared considering she had to go through overseas travel, customs, and then get delivered by USPS. I was like "oh god, she's going to be in a million pieces." But she's fine, actually. Either way, despite the yellowing of the plastic wind effect that she sits on, and the kind of glaring middle part seam, she's still pretty cute. I think a lot of these older figures are pretty charming. And I also love the Tales of Series. So basically, it's a win-win for me. Happy to finally have her.

Nao Nendoroid

This is the oldest Nendo I have, though I didn't get it for a decent while. I like having her hang around my desk from time to time. She's really cute and charming, and always a reminder that I get very lazy when it comes to the matter of rebirthing on time. Or remembering to level to 200 before i go to do stuff.

Portrait Of Pirates Neo Sanji

s0ul tricked me. Bamboozled me. Took him right out of my hands and handed me him for my birthday. That means so far he's my most special figure. Like he's so ugly but charming at the same time I wanna smooch his little face. His cigarette is a literal stick. His shoes are so oldschool they're like those big ass KH shoes even though 1P predates KH. I'm smitten. P-chan sits on his base looking pathetic. He's a renewed version of an even worse looking version of him from 2004 where his coloring is fucking neon. So charming LMAO.

Kagamine Rin Nendoroid

Rin was the first Nendo I ever got. And it was shortly after she came out too. I remember getting into vocaloid, and I think around that time Meltdown by Iroha had recently come out and I was all about it. I haven't listened to Rin songs in a while, but I think a lot of them are really fun.

Sanji - Portrait Of Pirates Strong Edition

Generally a pretty nice figure. He's charming. He definitely looks a lot more refined than the 2004 and 2008 Sanji scales that MegaHouse put out. And his cigarettes are pretty loseable. I got him for an absolute steal, all because the handle on the cannon was broken. 7 dollars. 7 dollars for this baby boy. Both of his cigarettes were there too. A Christmas miracle as some would call it. I think the only issue I had was when I glued the handle, the glue kinda dripped, and it stripped away a tiny bit of the paint. Something you really wouldn't notice unless you put him under a microscope. You desfinitely can't see it on a shelf, so it doesn't super matter to me. But I'd like to retouch it if possible.

Noel Vermillion Nendoroid Petite

This Noel Petite was a gift from a friend. Unfortunately her head's broken, but I was able to fix it. Still, she's really important to me despite how small and silly she is. I really love Blazblue and I put a lot of time into that game. This one was the bonus for Continuum Shift. It was the era I played the most. Good times. A lot of which were spent with friends on xbox live.

Izayoi Sakuya Figma

I won't lie, when I got her I was over the world about her. But these days? I dunno, she just doesn't go with anything else Touhou I own simply due to her size. I've been meaning to sell her, but the stickers are half gone, I have no idea where in my stuff they are, and one of her little knives is missing. So I doubt she's worth all that much. And yet I just don't have it in me to keep her. She's just whatever. I'm so sorry to say that about her.

Raven One Coin

I used to have this Raven a long time ago, and then I sold him when I sold everything else pretty much. Well, he re-entered my collection in the weirdest way. We were messing around and browsing ToV stuff and a friend had a proxy order open and there was one up for a dollar, so I got him. Because why not. I like Raven though, so it's neat to have him.

Yakumo Yukari

This is one of those figures I had wanted for a real long time. And while I wish I was able to get the puzzle that came with her on the aftermarket, I'm still glad that I was able to get her for a real good price. Seems like some of the older Touhou figures that aren't by Griffin don't tend to be too expensive if you get them used & in B condition. Which is like, great for me because I spent so little to get her. Either way, I think one of the things that is a real shame is that the photographs don't show how pearlescent the white gloves & tights are. And it's neat to see that. Makes them feel silky rather than a plain white finish. I think my only real woe with her is everything related to the umbrella. Between insertion of it being wonky and the red string being a mess (to the point I ended up cutting mine, oops!) I was not as impressed with the umbrella. I kind of wish they didn't use the metal rod here. It doesn't add anything and makes it way heavier than it needs to be, as well as it just sticking in awkwardly. It's always off balance it feels, and ready to pop off the handle. A plastic one would have worked wonders.

Sanji - The Grandline Men - Vol. 6 - Black Tie ver.

Honestly, his preview is more scuffed than the actual product. They really didn't make him look flattering lol. Anyways, I think there's 2 different versions of this figure, but MFC doesn't have them linked. So maybe I am wrong. I'll have to go look. Debate if I want to seek the other one out. At this rate, I'm going to end up with every figure of him from this line, aside from like, the one recolor. LOL.

Kaiba Seto One Coin Grande

I remember getting distressed looking for this little guy. This entire set is pretty expensive individually. Maybe one day I'll get the last 3 pieces I want (Bewd, Seto, Kisara) but for now, I have him. He's neat. I'm so glad the one I had also had his speech bubbles, even if I don't tend to display them anymore, because they take up so much space. He chills with his brother though.

Kaiba Mokuba One Coin Grande

Makes me a little bit sad that this is the only Mokuba figure. Mokuba gets like no merch in general though, so I shouldn't be surprised.

Yuri Lowell

This Yuri was one of the first figures I really ever wanted, and one of my first scales at that. However, I think with time, I've been less enthralled with him. I absolutely loved ToV and it's a huge reason I wanted to get him, but in comparison to everything else we got, I feel like his face is a bit awkward. Like, it doesn't really look like Yuri. I had a friend tell me "That means you need to get the True Knight Yuri" but I've seen the size of that base. I think for now, I'll stick with him.

Black Magician Girl

She's honestly really cute. I held off on getting her for quite a long time, but I'm glad I saw her for a deal one day on proxy. And in really good condition too. I think my only issue is that her alt face was a little bit sticky, but that's okay. I say that, not letting it air out at all or clean it. One day I need to get that goop for dealing with plasticizer... I don't remember what it's called though.

The only woe I have with this figure is her base is huge and I really just don't use it. I won't lie, I don't even remember where I put it right now lmao.

Flynn Scifo

Kinda funny to me that Flynn is one of the ones with the better face out of the group. So I have nothing really to say here past the fact that he looks great, his details are excellent, and the joined base the two of them have is really neat. If you like Flynn from ToV, I really recommend this one.

Kirisame Marisa - Nemu Matsukura Ver.

So, I remember also really wanting her and Reimu, and while I am really glad to finally have this Marisa, I suppose that it's time to take the nostalgia goggles off on her. First off, my biggest woe with this figure is kind of just... How big the base is. Like, yes it's because of the pose and all. But it's kind of awkward how large it is, and thus how much space she takes up. She also is another one of those figures that doesn't look good at most angles. In fact, the expression on her face makes it really clear that there's only one real angle for displaying her. She has this very mischevious expression and while you can tilt it a few degrees, it just starts to look weird after a while from certain angles. I think my other real issue is kind of how flat her paint comes off. I guess I'm used to some figures having a bit flatter paint when it comes to either being older or being cheaper, but considering she was a pretty average 1/8 price when she released, it makes me wish there was a little more detail there. Still, I love Touhou Project as a whole, and thus I'm happy to have her.

Hakurei Reimu - Nemu Matsukura Ver.

I won't lie, I like this reimu a lot more than I like the matching Marisa lol. Very cute. I think this design isn't like the most Reimu-like design I've seen, but I do like the lighter hair and bigger emphasis on the ponytail. IDK why, I just really like ponytail designs.

Oh yeah, and the base is pretty cool on this one.

Sanji - Three Musketeers Ver.

I won't lie, this guy is HUGE. I don't think he's a 1/7th at all. He's closer to a 1/6th. And I don't think he's particularly that tall of a character, so maybe I need to put him next to my biggest 1/7th and my only standing 1/6th to kinda see just where he is.

Either way, old ass One Piece figures are neat. They were just making whatever. I also think its really neat that they would just base figures off whatever illustrations sometimes, because this outfit doesn't appear anywhere but a random illustration to my knowledge. I also didn't realize you can turn his head until I went to put the picture on this page. But once I turned it, his pose looks a lot better on my shelf. Or well, the shelves that get rearranged 500 times.

Hatsune Miku - Lat-type Ver.

I love Miku and if there's any Miku that screams peak Miku activities, it's LAT Miku. She's based on a really popular MMD model. I'm unsure if MMD even tends to be used nearly as much these days, as the amount of programs that can render whatever seem to have grown quite a bit, so maybe it's just an old art that's a bit forgotten. But I'm sure anyone who's seeking nostalgia or interested in an era of the internet they never got to experience, then this model probably looks familiar to you. Anyways, this Miku was the first scale I ever got, and when I first recieved her, she arrived on Miku day. So that makes her super special to me.

Sanji - The New World

Oooh, he's kinda silly. But in a charming way. I like that you can switch the regular cigarette hand out for another one, with him holding a little heart. I know it's supposed to go with his goofy silly little heart eyes, but I decided to display it with his regular face. It's very cute that way. Other than that, he's kind of scuffed. I always think it's weird when sometimes, they portray the coat as being very... outward. Like, that's a suit. It doesn't flare out slightly and it doesn't really tend to look that stiff on him. But it's whatever, I suppose.

Tony Tony Chopper - The New World Ver.

Admittedly, I picked this Chopper up in a bundle. And I was trying to get the other figure. I dunno if I'll end up selling him. He's not particularly noteworthy. He has an interchangeable arm and is pretty small. That's pretty neat I guess. Sorry Chopper, it's not that I don't love you, it's that I don't have enough space!

Nami - Portrait Of Pirates "Sailing Again" - Timeskip ver.

This Nami was in an order of mine and she seemed unclaimed. Well, when I got her, the box was missing and the pegs were broken, and I don't remember seeing any damage listed, so I temporarily fixed her with bluetack. At some point I'll see about fixingthe pegs in her feet. Either way, she's pretty nice. Just wish she wasn't broken even if she stands just fine.

Ultimate Madoka Nendoroid Petite

This little Madoka was the only thing that survived like most of my collection getting sold, but only because I'm pretty sure her arrow got lost at some point between the many deep cleans and purges of my stuff. I still haven't found it to this day. Maybe I should make her a new one. Either way,t his little figure has a lot of problems staying together. Like several parts of her are held together with Bluetack. Definitely one of the worst made Nendo Petites I've ever seen, and I owned the entire set of these at one point.

Yami Yugi - One Coin Figure Series - Duel King!!

I won't lie, I bought this set for the Kaiba. Not that I mind having Atem, but I am biased lol.

Big ahhh head fragile ahhh body. I love his expresssion though, it's really cute and much better than the more stoic pouty Kaiba from the regular blindbox versions of these.

Portrait of Pirates "Sailing Again" Sanji - Timeskip Ver.

Cute figure, that comes with a very loseable pair of cigarettes to pray that don't get claimed by your vacuum cleaner. Comes with an alt head & hand, and that's nice and all, but I haven't bothered to use them lol. The default looks a lot nicer.

Someone once said that I'm obsessed with tieing this guy up with stringlights and asked me what I was trying to do to him. Give him flowers, obviously. Really interesting that such a thing was so noticed though LOL.

Yami Yugi

I wonder if there's ever been a figure as rereleased as this figure. He has a total of 7 releases across the board, and that feels like a lot. Either way, I suppose it's warranted. It's a good figure. Classic, really. I like him a lot more than the other Yami Yugi one that Koto released, but I wonder if I'll like him more once we see him in comparison to the new one that's yet to come out. That aside, I think the only thing that keeps this from being a solid 5/5 stars is the fact that he's so damn difficult to put together. Like, I'm sure you're sitting here wondering "How is it difficult to put a collar and a millenium puzzle on a figure?" But it was pretty annoying. If the chain is too bunched up, then the jacket wont sit flush against his shoulders and head. If it's wedged in, the peg won't insert properly. And if you leave it off, he looks naked.

Rita Mordio

This figure is perfect. Like Flynn before, they made Rita perfect. Maybe even moreso than Flynn. I love her pose, I love her details, and the face looks just right. I think the only thing I'd really like is if she was screwed on her base or had a bit more support. But the fact that years later, I haven't heard of anyone having significant leaning issues nor problems with her breaking off the base, then that's a good thing.

Kaiba Seto

Really great figure that I'm totally biased towards admittedly. But like, my biggest woe is the whole angle at which you display him. Oh and the fact that his coat is huge and thus he takes up a lot of room. So I guess that's more than one woe. Perfect 5/7 figure.

Sanji - Battle ver.

Got him on a whim. I think it's kinda funny that he's in like several pieces and I just have a spare torso and two heads for him laying around. I also really wish more of his Figuarts Zero figs woul have the extra little invisible stand instead of the full on base. Because they're all pretty small. And their bases are all huge.

Milla Maxwell

Oh, I remember when she came out, there were a ton of issues when it came to painting the prototype's hair. The first time they painted it, it looked perfect. Then the second time, they used this gelatinous looking clear texture and super clear paint as they did with their (at the time) recent Panty figure and like, everyone hated it. They eventually switched the hair back, and she eventually started looking a lot better. But she was nowhere as nice looking as the prototype. Anyways, I bring this up because I feel like we can never forget the Milla Maxwell Prototype Debacle. I still wish we had that initial paint job, mostly because the blonde tones were a lot more varied from what we got, which is most noticeable at the top of her head. Her end result is not bad, but I mourn what once was.

Ultimate Madoka Nendoroid

I got her when she rereleased. Worth it to be honest. She's so pretty. I love UltiMado's design. So pretty. If I had the space and the money to shrine her, I would.

Altina Mel Sylphis

I'll admit, I've never played this game. But I do think this figure is really pretty. When she first came out I was tempted to order her. She kinda stayed cemented in my mind for that long. So when I found her on the aftermarket for a beyond reasonable price, I was quick to grab her. I do love Tony's artwork quite a bit, so I'd love to get more figures based on his illustrations, even though quite a few of the ones I want are NSFW. However, I suppose I'll see what I can do for more space before seeking out even more figures.

Kaiba Seto - Duel With Destiny Ver.

NGL I kinda love his dumb face here. Ended up thinking I wouldn't like this figure nearly as much and ended up kinda loving him. The very retro feel to his sculpt gives him a lot of charm as well.

Sanji - Portrait Of Pirates "Edition-Z"

I will not lie, I barely remember this movie, but I love this outfit. It's so so so cute. Babygirl I love when you dress like an actual pirate, you're so charming. Please point the gun at my head.

The base is fucking huge though, and at least the coat can come off, but I just leave it on because where the fuck am I going to put it otherwise?

Raven of Altosk

As much as I like this figure, I wish his skin tone was darker. Literally the plague of all Raven merch (or at least, 99% of the time). Other than that, he's fine? Sucks that I feel this way about the figure of one of my favorite characters ever, but considering I lack the money to commission someone to make his skin darker, and the fact that I'd never want to customize him myself (as I lack airbrushes), I'm just kinda stuck.

Sanji - Battle ver. Diable Jambe Flambage Shot

Wild ass sizes on Figuarts Zero figures but hey at least the figure is really cool. Honestly despite liking the actual figure, I think this is probably the worst Sanji I own solely because of the fact that like, I had to sit there and seriously tinker with his fucking base just to keep him on it without falling everywhere. There is like a pound of bluetack on this guy. Half of it is to get him to stay on the base, the other half is to get the base to stay on the tiny little riser that I have it on that was originally made for can badges. The other similar figure to this does not have this issue, I didn't really have to do ANY of that to it. But this one is stubborn. Why are you like this? I also wish that the promo pictures would show his fucking base because it looks really jank to just have the effect like that.

Estellise Sidos Heurassein

I love this Estelle, but I won't lie, she's another one I'm super afraid of the breakages on. Even moreso because I hear her foot has some issues and there's always damage there. That and like, people reported a lot of her were getting sent out with stains on the dress. Oh well, for the most part, mine is fine. Hopefully she stays that way, but I can't help but feel that a support on her leg would help.

Minami Kotori Nendoroid

Despite how loose her hair joint is, and how the little ribbon constantly slips, she's pretty cute.

Yami Bakura

Honestly the most awkward part of this figure is the fact that his arm is just... adding so much to his height. Makes him hard to display with some shelves. Especially if you want to use risers. Either way, despite this prominent problem, he's still a neat figure. Though I will say, one of the funniest things about this figure is the fact that after Yami Yugi, they decided to make the duel disk separate and not pieces to slip on due to all the paint transfers they come with (and for good reason, taking Yugi apart to store him is a nightmare.) So that means you just have certain figures who come apart at certain points. Well, since it'd look unnatural to just have bakura's arm disconnect where the duel disk is or else it'd have a giant seam, they made a spare arm. So somewhere in my stuff there's just a spare boy arm.

Portrait of Pirates "Mild" Sanji

Oh my god you are a little BABY. You are 3 apples tall.

Hatsune Miku - Nendoroid - Bloomed in Japan

Oooh, there's something about her that I really love. It's like the texture of the plastic. I can't really describe it. Normally, most plastic is made in China, but I think she's made 100% in Japan, and thus the plastic has a different texture. And that's really neat. She reminds me of candy. If I were brave enough, I think I'd eat her, like a piece of candy. Yom yom yom. Cronch.

Also I love this particular shade of pink that leans more red than blue. It's so nice. I always make sure to use that tone of pink on most of my ocs. I'm just in love with it oh god I'm so enamoured with her. Actual perfect Nendo.

Sonoda Umi Nendoroid

Falls off her peg a lot, but she's trying very hard. For whatever reason, I had 2 of them for a while, but I finally sold the other one.

Minami Kotori - Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki Ver

It's kinda funny. I got her so long ago off of Mandarake, and she's one of the oldest things in my collection now, along with the Lovelive Nendoroids ("oldest" being relative to me owning her, not the actual age of the figure itself.) I've tried to sell her twice because she just doesn't go with most of my stuff, but most times I just failed to sell her. So I'm just kinda stuck with her. Not that I necessarily mind, but like... I dunno. It's kinda funny how that happens.

Kashuu Kiyomitsu Nendoroid

There he is there is my little boy. I don't have a lot of Touken Ranbu stuff, but like, he was my first sword. So he's kinda special to me. I don't even know if I can log into my TKRB account anymore, and if I could, I don't know how. So I can't see him or the others anymore. But boy do I miss them sometimes.

Yuudachi - SPM Figure

I really used to like this Yuudachi figure, but over time I've really grown to feel really whatever about her. Her base is huge, her quality is admittedly not great (But I mean, she's a prize so go figure). And she just... doesn't fit in with anything else I owned. I kind of wish I got on collecting KanColle when it was more popular. I think most KanColle stuff these days is pretty affordable though. I dunno if I'd particularly collect anything from it outside of the scale Yuudachi, the scale Yamato, and if I could get her, the scale Tenryuu. I'm kinda checked out of KanColle, and so is the rest of the world sadly. Oh well. I wish I could love this figure again. I guess that's the woe of collecting more.

Please become more interested in KanColle. Not to slam Azur Lane or anything, but I think KanColle was super charming for what it was. Like the world has moved on from both it & Touken Ranbu but they both have so much heart for being little browser Gacha games. You can really feel the love put towards both of their topics of warships and swords.

Sanji - Ichiban Kuji One Piece ~Mugiwara no Ichimi, Kōkai no Kiseki~

Long ass fucking titles. As usual. Kinda charming, despite that giant ass base. Not a bad figure at all, and decently sized. I have too many of him though, I feel. Oh well. I need more. Greedy? Mayhaps. But I know what I like. Well, I suppose it's not too greedy because it's not like figures of Sanji get expensive outside of a handful of them.

Kaiba Seto - Vulcanlog

I will not lie this guy is so fucking janky and I kinda wish I had the Figma Kaiba. I also cancelled my S.H. Figuarts Kaiba as well. So I just have him unless I decide to shell out for them (and I probably won't right now to be honest with the current tariff situation.) Either way, I wish this guy's head stayed on without like difficulty. I also wish that the effect that you could use as a mini-stand would keep him upright without a ton of support needed. But most times you need to just use his base. Kinda makes me sad. Oh well. I think if you really like this outfit and you really like Kaiba, he's kinda worth seeking out. But if you just want a posable Kaiba, get the S.H. Figuarts which should be out next month unless you're looking for a domestic store to get him. Then you'll see him in 3 months.

Sanji - Portrait Of Pirates Limited Edition - Portrait of Pirates SOC -

So I will not lie, I kind of impulse bought this guy. Like, his AM is no fucking joke. 200 on the extreme low end with damages, but most places, he's 400. I got lucky and got him for around 300ish. And then they announced a rerelease because of the popularity poll. Normally, I'd be pissed, but the look between this version and the new version are so different (and the new version doesn't look nearly as good with his paint job especially on the hair) that like, I dunno, I'm sure fucking glad I got this one. Either way this figure is gorgeous. I don't think the preview picture does him justice. Most of his pictures don't do him justice. He's so good. Oh my god thank you Megahouse.

Anyways, I got called a gooner for owning this one. Oh well.

I will admit, I think I am going to buy the other newer version of him too. I think he'll probably be my first duplicate figure. But like hear me out: If people can buy 2 of harness Eve due to her different versions, I can buy both of the SOC Sanjis.

Noel Vermillion Nendoroid Petite - Ver.2

She was the bonus for Central Fiction. Kinda cute, but I've never been a fan of this outfit for her. Even if I understand it symbollically, I really like her old NOL outfit much more.

Her guns are the most difficult part of this figure. Good luck if you decide you want her, as they do not like to stay put. You will be using copius amounts of bluetack to get them to stay.

Sanji - Variable Action Heroes

This is probably the nicest posable figure I have. He can sit without immense difficulty and I love that about him. Hes also decently big, can actually stand on his own, came with a decent amount of extra stuff. I use to keep him next to my pills, but he lives in the shrine now. Oops. Still, really cute. Another thing I considered getting 2 of. Oops.

Sanji - Chou Gekisen -Extra Battle- Akuma Kazaashi Ikkyuu Hikiniku

It amazes me that despite the effect of this guy being pretty fucking solid, that he cannot actually stand without it. He just falls. Might be a good idea to bluetack him to his base or whatever you have him balanced on if you own him or decide you want him. But also like, another issue is just... his base is so big. Why does it always have to be this way? Not going to lie I'm so tempted to learn how to make customized acrylic bases for like 40% of my Sanji figures solely because I hate the fucking size of the bases! Between him and Miku, they're just shelf hogs! Can you guys calm down? Seriously!

Looking at it again, it's probably the leg in the air that makes him fall over without his base...

Sanji - Super Master Stars Piece - The Brush

This guy was a hunt and a half to get just for a single Kuji figure. 3 different listings for him in this colorway sold the day after they were listed. Someone had a damaged one up for 50 dollars and then they extended the bid day n then I lost it in the end even though the damage was fixable (2 minor scuffs). And then someone had one up for 40 with a pretty neat repaint for the Onigashima suit where I hesitated on it because I disliked the black line they decided to put on his mouth (not that I couldn't just remove that or anything and be fine with that.) In the end, I almost settled for his 2nd color until I found him on mercari. Well, most of the time his price was around 130-150, and I paid 180 to get him in the states. I'm ok with that though because I finally fucking have him and in the colorway I want. Ohhh I love this one so much. She's very simple, but she's so good nonetheless. Part of me is debating on getting the original Ruby & Sapphire design to display alongside her, but I think the ORAS one is pretty much all I've wanted in a Haruka figure, including my starter of choice.

Sanji - The Grandline Men - The Grandline Series - Vinsmoke Family Vol.1,2,3

I love when the title classification for a figure on MFC is going into fucking infinity like it is with this guy, and also The Brush one. But like it's whatever. It's a charming figure. I love his design for this arc even though the arc last forever and is like throwing bricks at people. Someone I knew once described WCi as "Sanji Fan 9/11" and that's the truth. Oh but you are so pretty even if your family is some of the worst people on earth and your bride-to-be is also... Like that...

Serena & Fokko

Oh she is just so so so so so cute. I love these Pokemon figures to be quite honest (Yeah, who would have guessed that the person who has Pokemon all over their site would love Pokemon figures.) Her design is perfect, the pose is really good, and I still can't get over how cute her design is in general. I'm so glad she released. I'm so glad more of them are rereleasing. I really hope Leaf joins the rerelease gang.

Boa Hancock - Flag Diamond Ship

Kind of a whatever fig to be quite honest. I thought I'd like it more, but she just doesn't go with most of my collecting. I really love her outfit though. But I think if I ever get an opportunity, I'd like a different figure of Hancock.

Sanji - One Piece 20th Anniversary ver.

Even if the feather boa is just kinda whatever, this figure is really cute. I wish his extra face place came with him and not with Usopp's figure in this set, but I am actually tempted to seek it out. His smile's so cute in it. He looks so sincerely happy. I gotta get it. Either way, I really love the little tug of the glove on this one, and the bracelets are a nice touch either. Babygirl you're so fun when you get all dressed up in your silly little outfits.

Maplestory Heroes - Phantom

The spoils of war from the first North American Maplestoryfest. I did a review of him once upon a time on MFC. I plan to remake the phantom half on this website and possibly put up the old blurry pictures I took with the information here as well as one of my other old reviews with a figure I had to part with. Just for the sake of archival. Anyways he's my most prized possession and a reminder of all the time I spent with Maplestory and as a Phantom player (PAIN). Not a spectacular figure, but I'm just so glad he exists.

Would like to add that we don't have a lot of data on his actual release date. MFC says 2019 for standard release but as someone who can literally confirm they got him before that due to Maplefest, I can only tell you that date. There was an exclusive cash shop bundle for these figures that sold out instantly in KMS but I don't remember the date of that, or when they would have been shipped out. But I know there were 75 of each hero, and Phantom apparently sold out instantly. There might be other releases we don't know about too.

Sanji - Whole Cake Island ver.

I had to scower for him at a decent price, and even then, he was still 60 dollars. Oof. Whatever, this one is so cute. I love this outfit, have I said that enough yet? Well now you know. Anyways, the flower boquet is such a nice touch, even if that entire scene is beyond heartbreaking.

Pudding is on the box for this one and I swear to god I can never fucking tell how fucking tall she is supposed to be because some figures have her nearly as tall as Sanji and other times she's like this one where she's fucking 4 ft nothing. It's whatever, I don't have any plans to buy anything of her and if I did I would put her in prison immediately. She's getting exiled along with Estinien.

Yuki Jyudai

Jyudai is probably the nicest Duelist scale to date, aside from that gigantic Kaiba. I'm unsure if even the recent Koto ones will be able to top the quality here, but I suppose I'll see if I end up with any of them past Kaiba, who I won't be getting until late in the year anyways. Still, he has a great pose, great paint, and everything about him is pretty perfect. i think the only real issue I have is the size of the base being huge? But that seems to be an issue with Amakuni's YGO stuff so far.

Ousaka Sougo Nendoroid

I think it's funny that he comes with both a drill and a tabasco bottle. Really wish IDOLiSH7 got idol outfits for their nendos, but I suppose I'm grateful we got anything at all.

Tamaki Yotsuba Nendoroid

Kinda wish I could put the kitty hoodie on other characters at times. I like the Osama Pudding he comes with tho.

Sanji - Portrait Of Pirates Limited Edition - Ver.WD

Oh god this figure is gorgeous and I'm glad they went a little off scale and made him slightly bigger, so he's closer to a 1/7 than he is a 1/8. Either way, super worth it. He's my beautiful bride. Huband. I love him. We are MARRIED. I put flowers in his hand and have it extended outward. I wish they would have made the figure's nails a bit better though because like, it looks like they're supposed to be painted gold in promo pictures (very cute touch), but they just look like smoker nails on the actual figure (very poor touch.) I have considered actually giving him a manicure because I have plenty of nailpolish and it's not exactly hard to get some metallic gold and put it on him with topcoat.

Also I really dislike Surugaya for not specifying he had damage because I had to like use pliers to pry the connecting point of his arm out and reglue it but it was a super easy fix so no big deal. BUT AT LEAST SPECIFY THAT DAMAGE!! I'm begging.

Estinien - Bring Arts

CURSED. CURSED CURSED CURSED. Between him & another Square figure I used to have that also had the same thing happen, his arm joint broke right out the fucking box. Like it was instant. I was literally trying to pose him and it just snapped. And he is just stuck in the same pose forever because of that. I've put him in the banishment corner. Because he belongs there. How could you do this to me, Estinien. This figure would be awesome if he wasn't so fucking fragile. I rarely break any of my stuff. But this guy just... I dunno he just ate it. Because of him, I probably won't be buying anything else by Square. They'd have to make something remarkable for me to take that back. Like a fucking statue of Perfect Alexander.

Sanji - Glitter & Brave

I contemplated leaving the original entry that I put here as a filler, but god the typos are a lot. Either way uh, this guy really started a fucking problem with me. I remember I bought him as a joke after crashing out after WCi arc I was literally in fucking shambles looking at this guy and crying and saying "haha no I don't know what you're talking about no I don't like that character" I said as I kept using every fucking excuse to look at him.

Man I feel like a fucking jester sometimes. It's like 18 months later and I have a shrine to this guy I want to fucking marry this guy. I've been told to reeevaluate my life choices by some but others are hella accepting so that's awesome but like man... I am just having a time with him.

Dunno why I said in my original placeholder blurb that I needed to go back to Heavensward of all fucking things though. But considering Evercold, I suppose in a way we're there.

Incredibly charming figure for a prize in a line that is mostly girls but just has him & his variant without the cape. I might buy that as well to see if he doesn't lean because uh this one leans and I'm convinced its the weight of the cape.

Tataru Taru - Minion Ver.

She's a very basic prize figure with a really big base, but she's very cute for what she is. Apparently these are 1/1 scale because of the fact that they're sized as big as FF14 minions should be in comparison to players, and that's really neat in my eyes.

Kujo Tenn Nendoroid

That's the goat right there. Really cute, love the bonus, love the expressions you get for him. But I really wish we had any of his other outfits to be quite honest.

Nanase Riku Nendoroid

I almost typed Hatsune Riku as his name oh my god. Either way, outside of completion, and the fact that his bonus was really cute, I kinda regret buying him. Oh well. One day I'll have all the i7 nendos, I hope.

I got this as a gift one year for my birthday. He's kinda silly, and very cute. I enjoyed putting it together, even if I thought some of the blocks were missing (which I luckily found later.) My favorite part of this is how the blocks snap into place. Totally not throwing shade at another set of blocks. Nope don't know what you're talking about.

Hikari & Pochama

Hikari is easily my favorite design for a player character within this entire franchise. Super glad to have her & Pochama, who was my starter in this generation as well. Sinnoh is probably that one generation that I've put so much time into that seeking out her figure when it was finally made only felt natural to me. I hope they continue to make more of these figures, because I really do like them. Praying for that Leaf rerelease.

Honestly another favorite Nendoroid to be quite honest. Not only are the wings he came with gorgeous, but I'm really glad we got him in general. Gran & Djeeta would have been neat.

Hatsune Miku - 3rd Season Winter ver.

Kind of a cute Miku. When I saw her in stores, I was absolutely stunned and had to get her. She opened up a wormhole of me collecting Miku prizes when I eventually got back into collecting, even if she wasn't my first Miku.

She's kinda cute. Won't lie, I don't feel any particular way about this nendoroid. I grabbed her for cheap because she was one of 2 last nendos in the YGO line that I wanted to collect. I kinda still really want Yusei as well. But oh well. I don't really like buying things for completionist sake so I'm trying not to think like that.

Sirnight - Pokémon Plamo

Gardevoir kit I picked up on a whim and customized poorly to be shiny. She's really globby and not well painted but I suppose it be like that sometimes. I like her though, even if she's poorly painted lol. Next time, I will buy alligator clips though, for her arms. I dunno if I'll ever get an airbrush, but it'd be the dream. Not that I have anywhere to work.

Sanji - Portrait of Pirates "Warriors Alliance" - O-Soba Mask

Holy mother of impulse purchase. His base is huge but he's really nice. I think out of all the Portrait of Pirates that I own, he's easily a contender for the nicest of them. The paintjob is fantastic. Like holy shit. They popped off with him. Glad you don't need to put him on his base, but I just put it with him because it's so fucking big. I think this is the biggest base I own.

Kugisaki Nobara - SPM Figure

Honestly she's another figure that I wish could stand without her base, but her effect is even more unstable than the one Sanji I have that's supesr unstable. Oh well. I got her from someone clearing out a ton of their prizes who just had us pay shipping. She's pretty cute. Out of the 3 I picked up, she's the only one I didn't come to regret admittedly, but I think I may still part with her and get a better Nobara in the future. I didn't think I was going to come to really like Nobara, but I did.

Kugisaki Nobara - Vol.2

Honestly this figure really cute. I got her because I saw her bundled with the Gojo with the phone. I initially proposed splitting a bundle, but the person buying with me wanted both, so we ended up with both. I would have been fine with just one of the two but I ended up with them both too so I guess I can't complain.

I ended up getting her for like 15 dollars at a local store. She's alright. Not really sure what to do with her. I will probably end up selling her one day, but for the most part she goes with my pink Mikus decently. Anyways don't impulse buy things.

Babygirl you are so cool with your aviator sunglasses and your messy hair and your leather jacket and your rapier that's just kinda there god I'm smitten kinda. I won't lie I really do love the glasses and curly hair though god give him them more often. His other outfit would be super cute if he was just wearing pants. But the amount of times he wears dress shirts and blazers with shorts is pretty high for whatever reason.

I love this figure. Literal work of art. Everything here is magnificent. I couldn't recommend it more but at the same time, the expense is high, and the amount of space he takes up is even higher. If you can get him into a cabinet without sacrificing a shitton of space, then you're lucky. I've seen some people say that they need to take one of the wings off to be able to display him, but I feel like that really takes away from the figure to do that (ontop of the fact that I can't imagine storing him without either the wings but like IDK that's just me.) He's big, he's bold, and he's the nicest plastic paperweight I own thus far. Sucks that he's a pain in the ass to clean.

This was one of those purchases where I got her cos she stayed lodged in my brain since I saw her. For whatever reason, it took me quite the courage to work up buying her. She's decently big and well made, but my only woe is that she was supposed to come with secondary wings and she just... didn't. What a shame. I wonder if going for this variant instead of her alternative was the right call, even though I prefer the colors here more. It's just that the lighter blue might have fit the rest of my collection much better.

Radio Eva Part 2 Ayanami Rei

So, I ended up getting her due to a friend's package having an absolute mishap and her ordering another and then giving it to me. The figure is nice, but the more and more I look at her, the more I feel like she's out of place in my collection. I found him at my local Miniso along with only BEWD for some reason. But he's awesome. Too bad if you breathe on him, he will fall apart. The bane of my existence is that these blocks don't snap into place at all so the end build just feels really fragile.

UGH SAME ISSUE AS WITH THE YUGI. I didn't get him at Miniso though. I had to import. He's very charming. I really love the build its actually really cute. But god he's so fucking fragile. Just like his ego. Biblically accurate Seto Kaiba.

For some reason, I had no issues with building her. She never falls apart. She's generally really solid. And that's great. Awesome. If you're going to buy any of these, get the BEWD.

In highschool I was like madly in love with this guy. That aside, it feels nice to own a figure of him that isn't a dinky ass trading figure, even though I used to have one with a blue base that was kind of cool. That aside, I like the new outfit, and the pose is pretty neat, even if it makes him kind of hard to position. I also kind of dislike the block on his feet, but I guess that keeps us from having a giant stand.

Hatsune Miku x Cinnamoroll - White Dress Ver.

Miku so heavy, she could be used as a bat in case a robber breaks into your house. She's a cute figure too, don't get me wrong. She's just so fucking hefty. And wide. She can be kind hard to stick in displays because of that.

Yoko Littner Nendoroid 2.0

Remember when Good Smile was like "Oh yeah we're being environmental we're putting our Nendoroids in Pizza Boxes to save the earth" rather than slowing down on production of plastics that will remain on this earth far after we're all dead? Yeah that was a riot.

Okay, so I will not lie, I hated the preorder bonus being a fucking plastic sheet that just has a bewd on it. Like, really? I guess they had to keep them separate so they could make people pay for another Nendoroid, unlike how they used to do shit in this line of figures. I'd give the figure a low rating for that, but honestly the figure itself is fine. Very cute. Very charming. I'm not Kaiba biased or anything I swear.

Trafalgar Law - Grandista

Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that this line has like 2 or 3 Sanji figures in it, this guy would make me swear off ever buying Grandistas. They're fucking huge, the stands are absolute garbage, and the assembly on this guy is an absolute nightmare. Held together with bluetack and a dream. His coat barely stays on. I like Law but I really might just get rid of him despite that. He just is in the isolation corner of my room lmao. I couldn't be assed to put him in a cabinet anymore. Sorry. I'm not a Law hater. I just don't like this particular figure.

Hatsune Miku - Rurudo White Ver.

Rurudo Miku Rurudo Miku!!!!!! Anyways this one is pretty cute. I kind of wish I was good at doing customs like other people are when it comes to figures, because I think the customized pink ones I keep seeing on MFC are super cute. I've seen someone paint her purple as well to be more like Eve, but I'd rather she be more like Miku. Even if that Miku is just another Pinku Miku.

Also there's both a white and black of this figure, and I decided on white. I've seen the black in person too, and it's pretty nice. I just likes the white more.

Hatsune Miku - Little Missing Stars Ver.

The design? Gorgeous. The paint? Well done for the most part. The sculpt? Very nice despite being simple. So what's the problem then? The Ugly Fucking Base. I'm still mad. She'd be perfect with a smaller base. Anything would be better. Like dear god.

Honestly glad I saw her at the mall and grabbed her. I almost didn't get this because I kept passing her each time on proxy, but seeing her there made me finally bite the bullet. And it was worth it. She's super cute.

Kaiba Seto - Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Duelist Figure Collection

Most times, I don't complain about the quality of cheaper stuff, like trading figures or prizes and stuff like that. Like yes, okay, I have my gripes and all, but they're never like serious complaints. These however? I kind of high key regret buying them. The set had so many defects. They were so sloppy. Kaiba has fucking marks all over his head, like straight up white paint that got everywhere. The quality check was in the gutter. Luckily he doesn't have the issue a lot of the others have.

Jounouchi Katsuya - Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Duelist Figure Collection

Well, now it's time to talk about hte issues that all the others have. They're just a fucking mess. They lean like crazy. They're so top heavy, and I'm pretty sure that they're all made solely out of PVC with no ABS in them whatsoever. I constantly hear stories about most of them just going horizontal at some point. I have kept mine upright by resting him against the acrylic stand and using bluetack. But yeah what a fucking mess.

Hatsune Miku - Cherry Cushion Ver.

Fun fact I accidentally almost ripped her pigtail out trying to clean her (I legit thought it was detatchable because I think it was already slightly loose). That aside, I got her on a whim. I like the Desktop Cute series so far though. Lives up to its name and it's affordable.

Hatsune Miku - Flower Fairy - Clover

Got her in a bundle. Generally, she's pretty cute. My only issue is how wide she is.

Ram - Jewel Princess

Saw these designs and kinda fell in love with them. She's not poorly made for being a budget scale. In all honesty, my main issue is her base and the connection points just being bad. If you pick her up, she will fall off. If the base was made of something heftier, and the crystals clicked in instead of being made out of like super cheap plastic you see in like, childrens play toys and stuff, it would be a general step up. But oh well. 16 dollar scale figure. Guess she was bound to come with some problems.

Megurine Luka - Noodle Stopper Figure

For the price you pay for her, this is a really good Luka. 100% recommend if you like Luka and don't want something that looks nothing like her. Not me throwing shade at another specific prize figure nope not at all...

Hatsune Miku - Loungewear Outfit Ver.

This doll is so cute. Adorable. I love her. my only issue is her clothes being difficult to get on her. But I love her. I think if I had the spare cash and could find an outfit I like, I'd buy another Nendoroid doll body to make like a Yamato doll or a Kaiba doll.

Kinomoto Sakura

Shes really cute, don't get me wrong. But the face is a little jarring, and she's generally really heavy, and that stand does NOT support her. She is constantly about to topple over. If they gave her any sort of better stand, her rating would jump higher. But no, they gotta give her the stupid clear wedge. I am a hater of the wedges.

Hatsune Miku - Fantastics Series - Sakura

Honestly, putting her joints together hurt my hands so bad. And her headset and her bangs do NOT fit together. I have her displayed without the headset on and it makes her feel a bit naked. It's okay though, she's generally really pretty though. I don't think I'll buy any more from this line though. Not because its necessarily bad, I just don't want to assemble them anymore lmao. She comes with a ton of cute accessories though.

Sanji - Masterlise

Please pull your tie down further. In fact, just take it off. Take the rest off too.

Jokes aside, he's another victim of the fucking wedge bases. It's not as bad as the other one though. Or Grimmjow's. I suppose that's pretty good but it's just whatever. Masterlise seems to be a pretty good line though for prizes.

She was another buy of something I don't really play. Well, I suppose I've played Kancolle, and like, that's enough to say that I'm familar with Azur Lane, right? I know they're nowhere near alike in gameplay despite being the same concept, but I really couldn't get over how cute she is. She's the perfect companion to Sweet Toxic Eve though, so I had th have her. Luckily, Limepie is pretty well priced.

Eve is probably the other most expensive figure I owned, and the one I looked forward to the most all of last year. She's gorgeous and I'm so glad I got her. With all things made by Rurudo, the aftermarket is super high. So I think I will keep buying figures based off her illustrations for now. I feel like the aesthetic of her art, it really fits my collection that has way too many Mikus. So uh, I suppose I'm in for the long haul here. Doesn't matter. Eve is gorgeous. I suppose it's okay to have preorders here and there, to be mixed in with my primarily secondhand collection.

Rurudo is so powerful that she was able to get a prize figure made of one of her OCs. It's neat that that happened, but I won't lie, the quality is kinda just ehh. There's parts where the seam feels very visible, and the hair is quite clumpy, and it's hard to get parts of it to lay flat. But at the same time, despite how poorly made she is, even for a prize, I just appreciate her general aesthetic. If you like Rurudo's stuff and you're going for all of them, I wouldn't pick her up for more than 20, and that's being generous. I got lucky to get her right before the tariffs went into effect, so I paid like, not even 10 dollars for her via proxy

Sanji - Portrait of Pirates "K-Maximum"

Honestly this figure is HUGE but also it's awesome. I don't really know what else to say about it other than I saw it and decided that it was my new grail for a while and then like... The tariff situation came around. So I stopped trying for him. Glad I got him. Glad his box isn't the size of like a fucking suitcase. Still, the details are pretty cool. Kinda neat to see it's from Koto (Even though the distributor is still MegaHouse). Probably the nicest Koto figure I own now that I think on it. Oh well. I don't have a lot of big figures and it's because of space constraints, but he was worth making the space for.

Sanji - Masterlise Expiece

I love the Egghead fit it's legitimately so cute. Please babygirl consider wearing more short sleeved dress shirts when you wear shorts.

I honestly bought her for the heart hands to be honest. Worth it. But she's also really cute. I love her. Somehow, she was my first Miku Nendo after all these years, and I think that's really interesting that of all things, my first would be a DECO Miku.

I barely got her in the other day, despite having preordered her ages ago. I need to probably stop giving into GSC, considering they're not a very good company. I preordered Ame-chan to go with her, of course. But I won't see Ame for some time.

Sorry, but the bare leg bunny variant is the proven inferior product. Bunny girls are just superior with stockings. I say that like I'm a huge bunny girl person (I'm really not), but like, it's the truth. I generally just like stockings though.

March 7th - Gift+ - The Hunt

I will not lie, when it comes to actually playing Honkai I am a dirty lazy good for nothing slacker who forgets its on my pc. However, the designs slap. Barrista March is very cute. I love her, but I think the only thing I'm not satisfied with is the fact that she's anchored to the base and you cannot take her off. Comes with 2 heads though, and that's pretty neat. That and she's fairly cheap as well. Not the cheapest, but I don't think 60 for a scale of this quality is all that bad.

Desktop Cute Frieren

Impulse purchase Frieren that I grabbed from a Gamestop. She's a good size and fairly inexpensive. The Desktop Cute line seems pretty worth it so far.

Yami Yugi - S.H.Figuarts

I wish this guy came with a stand. He'd be a 5 out of 5 if he came with a stand. Also his box is fucking huge. When I got another S.H. Figuarts, I was shocked at how compact the box was. God Atem I guess you're having fun in your plastic sarcophagus or something like that.

Hatsune - Thumb Cuffs Ver.

So I won't lie, at some points I kind of regret going for so many of the sitting figures. But at the same time, the first Hatsune is really good. I love the shade of hair they gave her, and the pouty look makes her perfect. I know people were skeptical about her because a lot of the promos made her hair so saturated looking, but it's really not in real life. Anyways, I think her aftermarket, like anything based off Rurudo's illustrations, has already begun to skyrocket. Good luck to anyone who decides they want this figure later.

Megurine Luka - BiCute Bunnies

People say this doesn't look like Luka, but at least it's not as ugly as that one flower themed pink and white dress figure. That aside, she's decently cute. But I dislike the shit on the back of her head. Like, it looks even worse because she has that long ponytail. Like, why did they do that???? What a fucking choice.

Hatsune Miku - Hanami Outfit Ver.

Honestly she's really cute and apparently this one doesn't have the weird black mark that appears randomly on her leg so it's a win/win situation. She's really big for a pop up. Like yes I know she's marked "large" so that means she's closer to the size of a 1/7 scale probably but like... IDK, still really neat. I wish I could get the other Hanami Mikus.

Eve - Sugar High ver.

This is a big fucking Eve. Like seriously she is huge. Normally the size of my figures is their height, but this is her length. She takes up a huge spot on any shelf, and she's heavy as hell. I'd say you could use her to beat a burglar as well, but like, she's so damn difficult to pick up at times. She's generally really cute. And I'm glad that a ton of people complained about the stockings issue. The sheers didn't look good at all. The white ones look way better. Generally though, the wait was worth it, even if you now have an 8 legged Eve if you got the Japanese release. She has the same problem that Sanji figures have. Very loseable tiny little accessory to hold in her hand. I almost lost the lolipop at least twice now. Not fond of that.

Charming handsome little guy that's well made, well articulated, and has separate thigh pieces of all things? I've seen people say that him and the other S.H. Figuarts one (that I don't have yet) fall apart, but I really haven't had that issue with him. He's pretty good at standing on his own too. Wish there wasn't a pack of extra faces & tankards that was sold separate from him to get you to buy more stuff, but that's just a fucking Bandai thing. As usual. Money grubbing bastards.

Hatsune Miku - Artist MasterPiece+ - Sakura Dress Ver.

Super well made for a prize figure. She's legit so cute. I was honestly amazed when I got her how well made she was. People were complaining about her but when I got her, I was just like huh? I guess it was the color of the base, which... Yeah okay I guess. I don't fucking know. It doesn't bug me. But I also hate white and black discs so I suppose I get it.

Sanji - Cosbi Netflix Series One Piece Collection

I took him from someone else to keep him out of her hands. But also like, I will not lie, I am not a fan of the Live Action One Piece adaptation, and while this is decently cute, I really just... Don't like their handling of his character so far. People complain that OPLA reduced characters down to archetypes, but Sanji isn't even that. He's a shell of a fucking person. Only thing they've done pretty decent with is the clothing I suppose.

Oh well he sits with the others. The blue eyes are a cute touch, but most times his eyes look more grey leaning. I wouldn't be surprised if they're supposed to be blue to a degree but Oda just colors things however.

Zhongli - Genshin Impact Wondrous Travels Series

Ohhh he's so cute. The box is super cute as well, being a little mini cake box and all. Honestly, I think if I had space, I'd have tried for more of these because they're all generally really cute. But I mostly had to have Zhongli since he's my favorite of the Archons.
